Mid Yakima River Basin Bacteria Total Maximum Daily Load

We invite you to comment on the draft Mid Yakima River Basin Bacteria Total Maximum Daily Load water quality improvement plan.

This draft water quality improvement plan aims to address high bacteria levels in three sub-basins: Cowiche Creek, Moxee Drain, and Wide Hollow Creek. The goal of the water quality improvement plan, formally known as a Total Maximum Daily Load or TMDL, is to identify water quality and riparian habitat improvements needed to support aquatic life and recreational uses in the Mid-Yakima River Basin.
