What happens after the comment period?
- Ecology will review and consider all public comments, then decide the full scope of the environmental review.
- Once the scope is determined, Ecology and its contractor will begin a full review of the impacts of this project on the environment (natural and built).
- When the draft EIS report is complete, another comment period will be held. After considering additional public input at the end of that comment period, the draft EIS report will be finalized.
- Project permitting will not occur until after the final EIS has been published. Additional comment periods will be held for each permitting process.
